"Otrada values initiative people who wish to contribute to the piggy bank of company success."
I graduated from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with a degree in Management 3 years ago. But could I imagine that I would be a manager of a pig farm? – Sure, I couldn’t!

I entered the company as an office-manager and already in 6 month thanks to our management team started to work as a farm manager assistant. I was provided with a comprehensive support,  that made my transfer and adaptation so simple and fascinating. Having made great efforts and gained the experience, I was given a chance to lead the farm. Now I am a farm manager of one of our production sites with the full responsibility for its' performance focusing on efficiency, competitiveness, high standard results and comfortable conditions for animal welfare.

This year I also graduated from Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Corporate Finance. It would seem, nothing about pigs again... But this education helps me a lot to have a global picture on my work. Pig management is learned by 'doing' as we all are lucky to be surrounded by highly qualified team.

Otrada values initiative people who are open for changes and wish to contribute to the piggy bank of company success.

"Otrada is an amazing company where your desire to develop can bring you success and help achieve incredible results."
At the moment I am Head of Genetics Sales which is one of Otrada key business units, although I started my way in 2014 from the position of Recruitment Specialist.

There was a very interesting time between these positions: from the very beginning I fell in love with pig production and decided to work on the farm. The company encouraged my desire and provided me with the opportunity to take the position of Farm Manager Assistant on a multiplication farm, and after 7 months I was given the position of Farm Manager (1,200 installed sows), at the same time I was managing a washing and disinfection station, a quarantine building and other important projects.

Considering such a rapid growth I am often asked a question: "Is it possible to get a job at Otrada?". I always answer that, sure thing, yes, still, one should be prepared for painstaking development, burn with the desire to learn everything they still do not know in spite of any difficulties and work hard every day. If it is your cup of tea, then welcome to our team!

“The company has always had a clear strategic view and it is very motivating to see how we all move to achieve our goals.”
It is the only company that was able to provide me with challenging and interesting tasks every time I came to the conclusion that there was nothing more for me to achieve and that I should move on. Every 2-3 years I changed the entire scope of my responsibilities, thus developing professionally and creating a totally new social network of great people around me. And great individuals make a perfect team.

What is intriguing about the company regardless of its size is that we have always been in touch with the latest technology that can hardly be found anywhere in Russia.

The company has always had a clear strategic view and it is very motivating to see how we all move to achieve our goals – gradually but consistently.

"I have always been supported by a team of professional, interesting and ready to help people"
Almost immediately after graduation from university, I came to the company getting the position of Assistant Financial Director. The opportunity to develop in a professional team following European culture seemed to be very appealing.

As it turned out, due to the Unified Development Strategy and corporate principles, the Company always gives an opportunity for growth to those who truly want to develop and do their best for it.

At that moment, I was an intermediary between accounting in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), which I was very proud of.

Further on, my functionality (and, accordingly, the scope of responsibilities) expanded, modified, thereby giving the opportunity not to stay put at one place, gain experience, become a professional and develop managerial skills. I have always been supported by a team of professional, interesting and ready to help people.

I had performed all functions in the Finance department, from accounting to banking administration and financial control. Later on I became Chief Accountant of the Group of Companies (according to the Russian and International Financial Reporting Standards). It is very gratifying to get a promotion, having passed all the stages from the very beginning and continue to move and develop with the Company! Our accounting is unusual. Reporting in line with International Financial Reporting Standards is the priority, which makes the work more intensive and interesting, and gives the employees an opportunity to grow, make their contribution and see extensive horizons.

And after the maternity leave I was offered the position of Financial Director to which I gladly agreed! Now we work with the whole team to achieve the result that provides for the growth of both, the Company and the employees.

There are no limits to excellence and professional growth. Especially in our Company!
Believe in yourself, work hard, have no fear and be yourself!

I was hired in September 2012 as an animal care operator. My duties were animal treatment and vaccination, cleaning of stalls, whitewashing, and sorting of purebred animals.

I was promoted to a senior animal care operator already in 2013. My responsibilities in the new position were to select pigs for breeding, enter data into the farm management software, check swine health, and keep sales and mortality records.

In late 2013, I was appointed as a Finishing Site Manager. My job duties were to supervise a team of finishing site employees.
Now I am a Farm Manager.
