Otrada produces 140 000 hogs per annum. They are all slaughtered in house at modern facilities located right at the fattening farms territories so as to reduce animal stress (no transport) and enhance the bio-security of our farms as no livestock trucks will come close to them.
Otrada’s production copes with the most stringent animal welfare regulations applicable in E,U, (place per animal, loose pens for sows, etc.). Growth enhances, hormones, systematic antibiotics use are totally excluded from our way of operating.
