“I should say that I got a chance to advance in my career a year later”.
When I was browsing job ads on the Internet, my attention was drawn to the office manager position in Otrada Farms. The job description appealed to me even more than the position itself. Especially, the last part saying "options of career development".

I should say that I got a chance to advance in my career a year later. Now I work as an Operation manager of slaughterhouses. I would not say that I have ever dreamed of such a job. Neither would you think of a girl that has dreamed of a job at the slaughterhouse. In fact, this is a very interesting industry. Most of my colleagues share the same experience.

The management gives opportunities to everyone keen on learning, developing and exploring new areas. This makes you want to make every endeavor to meet the expectations.

“I was hired in September 2012 first as an animal care operator”.
I was hired in September 2012 first as an animal care operator. My duties covered animal treatment and vaccination, cleaning of stalls, whitewashing, and acceptance, sorting of sold piglets.

I was promoted to a senior animal care worker already in 2013. My responsibilities in the new position were to select pigs for breeding, enter data into the Agrosoft software, check swine health, and keep sales and mortality records.

In late 2013, I was appointed as Finishing Station Manager. My job duties included culling, entering data into the Agrosoft software, preparing animal care plans, and work supervising.
Now I am a Farm Manager.
“I was always supported by our team, a team of professional, helpful and interesting people”.
In 2008, I graduated from the Lipetsk State Technical University with a degree in Accounting, Analysis and Audit. Almost right after the graduation, I was hired as an assistant of the financial director of the Company. I was attracted by growth opportunities in a professional European-managed team. By following an integrated development strategy and corporate values, the Company turned out to always offer career opportunities to those who really want to grow and do their utmost for this purpose.

I was an intermediary between the IFRS and RGAAP accounting offices at that time, and was very much proud of it. My functions (and, logically, responsibilities) changed and expanded, making me move ahead, acquire solid experience, become an expert and develop management skills.
At any point of time, I was always supported by our team, a team of professional, helpful and interesting people.

Since then I have been a senior accountant, a financial specialist and a financial manager. Now I am a Chief Accounting Officer of the Group of the companies. It is an extremely valuable experience to be promoted after you have walked the whole way from the start and to keep growing and developing with the Company. There is no limit to perfection and professional development, which is especially true for our Company!

“The company have always had far fetching and clear strategic view and it is very motivating to see how we all move to that ultimate aim - gradually but consistently”.
It is the only company that was able to feed my restless mind with challenging and interesting tasks every time I got to conclusion that it's no more for me to continue as it is and I should move on. Every 2-3 years I was able to shift in the scope of my responsibility significantly thus enabling me to develop professionally and create wholly new circle of communication bringing great people around. And not only the people but the whole team is the best I ever saw.

What was always intriguing in the company is that regardless of its current size we were always in touch with so many modern technologies and sometimes we are at the edge so that one will hardly find something similar in Russia.

The company have always had far fetching and clear strategic view and it is very motivating to see how we all move to that ultimate aim - gradually but consistently.
“My responsibility is to manage a full-cycle production site for 16 000 pigs”.
From the very beginning, I was very much interested to work in the company with European standards and international management. So I was really glad to be hired as an HR manager, the profession I was trained and had experience in.

While at work, I was learning much from my colleagues and regular visits to production facilities during the site tours and stock surveys any employee could take part in. Eventually, I took a real liking to my job. On the one hand, I am very keen on animals. On the other hand, you need to be skilled and experienced in veterinary, technologies, finance and many other fields to manage a production site. Despite a lack of specific knowledge and experience in pig management, I was determined to work in this very industry.

This might leave non-insiders wondering, but the management supported me and gave me a try, having appointed me first as an assistant to an experienced manager of a breeding farm. Just 7 months after my employment, I was appointed as Farm Manager. Now my responsibility is to manage a full-cycle production site for 16 000 pigs.

If you have a strong desire, you need to go in for something you really want to do no matter what training, experience or challenges you have. Most important is that Otrada is a company that can make your dream come true. Of course, this won't happen without efforts on your part.
